However, I will rarely choose Ruby to make GUI applications,=20 mostly because I'm not familiar with any of the typical GUI toolkit binding= s=20 (like Gtk). As you implied, what you choose will depend a lot on what you're comfortabl= e=20 with. If you want to write web apps with Ruby, you'll probably want to=20 investigate Rails.
