Look this code: ----------------- widget_with_entry.signal_connect('key_press_event') do |entry, event| if event.keyval == Gdk::GDK_Tab and event.state == Gdk::MOD1_MASK then entry.signal_emit_stop('key_press_event') print 'This works!' end end ----------------- Key combination is captured properly, but signal_emit_stop doesn't work and focus pass to next widget (because of Tab key). I have borrowed code from Gtk source and it should work. I have seen Ruby/Gtk source and not found any clue. Ideas, please?... David
