Here's an interesting question: is request-response really relevant to
web application development?  It's not the sort of thing the app
developer really needs to deal with, beyond knowing that they need to
ask questions of the user at regular intervals.  The actual mechanics
of request-response should be taken care of by the server.  Sounds
like yours is a stepping stone to that.
