Brief answers are:

  * you can handle them as long as you can tell which object refers
    which (in C level).

  * except the fact you have to invoke GC explicitly, because GC does
    not know memory usage out of Ruby.  new API might be added for
    this purpose.

  * Ruby's threading and native threading conflict.
