I agree. Visual Studio 6.0 is *SO* much better than any of the VS.net versions. I'm still using VS6 to write C++ on Windows and will only use VS 7.0 or above when I have to (i.e. the customer has a bug and has supplied a project to demo it and it comes in VS7.0 format). There really isn't any comparison. VS6 is very productive, the ones that come afterwards fight you every step of the way.
