Matz, I was assuming your patches would go in :-) I meant
those posted by others that you approve of and incorporate
for the next stable release.

I was thinking more along the lines of people wanting to
use the current stable release (rather than the nightly
snapshot) but needing to apply a patch to fix a specific
problem. These patches quickly get lost in ruby-talk.
