Subject: [ruby-talk:14600] Design by contract

Any interest/thoughts on implementing simple design by contract in Ruby?
Maybe adding Kernel.assert at least? I've written my own assert, but think
it might make a good addition to the language.

BTW: Ruby Rocks! Such a clean and elegant language. You don't have to jump
through hoops to do simple things, and you don't have to spend months
becoming accustomed to browsers and the like. Most excellent.
