Subject: [ruby-talk:14539] interfaces to some existing pthread code?

Hello again,

  This is the other part of the post I made in c.l.py that
Matz asked me to reask here.

  Suppose I want to write an extension using a C library
that runs with pthreads (or BeOS threads, or MS Windows threads,
or ...)  Ruby uses its own threading system instead of the
native ones.  Are there any problems with mixing the two?
