Subject: Accessing HSqldb in ruby

Hello,
Since OpenOffice.org v 2.0 is using Hsqldb as a database engine, I would 
like to use that database in ruby programs.
On Internet I only found one link on a guy saying "I tried this and that 
and it did not work...".
Has somebody done that ?
