Subject: [ruby-talk:14343] Ruby DB support for Windows

I would like to install MySQL support on my Windows (1.6.2) installation of
Ruby.  How do I go about doing this?  I assume that somehow I need to
recompile Ruby, but is this possible given the available files in the binary
distribution?  Also, I've installed Cygwin on my system, but the regular
source won't compile under it and the latest version of the cygwin
compatible source is 1.4.5.

I've already set up MySQL support for Ruby under linux (it was very easy),
but I'm doing this on a laptop that needs to run Windows.  Any help would be
greatly appreciated.
