How does ruby, or accessories, address:

1. Messaging Services
2. Integration with Security on the underlying platform
3. Transactions (and Distributed Transactions)
4. Integrations with legacy systems written in other languages or platforms
5. Clustering behavior or high availability behavior
6. Distributed computing
7. Web Services
8. Monitoring
9. resource management


and stuff like that
