I would like to embedd Ruby inside of a C++ program that is multi-threaded where each thread could run a Ruby script. What is nice about Lau is that its state is contained in one data structure that is passed to all API functions. That would be nice for Ruby as you could have several independant Ruby instances running in separate threads. I think I will work on embedding API in the future though. matz.
