I vote for the Ruby-crowned Kinglet!
Here is a nice web page on the kinglet :

http://www.wbu.com/chipperwoods/photos/rckinglet.htm

"There is much to learn about the kinglets, especially how they, despite
the small size, survive and thrive ..."

Now, that's Ruby! Small and thriving! :)

Hey Dave (Dave Thomas), I bought your book on "Programming Ruby" with Andy
Hunt. For the next edition, put the ruby-crowned kinglet on the cover,
okay? The "kinglet book".
