Shawn(Neil and Guerry),
find attached a zip-file (hopefully you can open it). It contains both
the scintilla and scite (1.37) directory trees with the following
changes:

scintilla
- made a seperate lexer module for Ruby (based upon the python lexer. As
Neil Hodgson suggest we should build upon the c++/java lexer though)
- "embedded" the Ruby lexer (wherever necessary) into scintilla
(and scite) project files. This inculdes the make- and dsp-files.

scite
- extracted the ruby specific properties from python.properties into
ruby.properties (under scite/src)
- added import ruby instruction into "sciteglobal.properties" files

I must admit that (although also having changed all make- and gtk-specific-
files) I only tested the win32 (i.e. I built with VC6) version of scite
(scitilla).

Neil Hodgson: Could you merge these changes into the upcoming 1.38
releases of scintilla and scite?

I am aware that this is no more than a first (refactoring) step to a fully
functional Ruby lexer (LexRuby.cxx). The lexer now needs to be adopted
(rewritten) for Ruby.

We are entering phase 2 ;-) which could be "ColouriseRbDoc" and "FoldRbDoc".
As Guerry Semones seems to be digging in here too, I would like to hand
over to him.

Regards
Clemens
