This topic interests me...
I had a look at template toolkit a few months ago or so, and saw the 
special markups it used for conditionals, loops, etc.  It was a whole
new language, basically.  It was very powerful, etc., but I am looking
for something that separates or modularizes the tasks of the graphic
designer who uses something like GoLive or DreamWeaver (an HTML Person)
from the tasks of the programmer making the application (the Coder).

I have my own system for partially doing this with PHP and include
files, but would like to leverage ruby's OO capabilities to make
managing the development and maintenance of advanced websites
more viable for a team of persons having different responsibilities,
without bothering with expensive proprietary systems.
