Yes, this would be great!

A while back I did a similar thing, using Tcl (with a Tk emulation 
layer) on the server to create and drive a Java applet GUI.  Worked very 
well for what it did, but would be nicer to see the client piece done in 
Flash instead of Java for all kinds of reasons.  

For the curious, there's an old paper about it (the work itself wasn't
