I was able to use a utility called impdef, some hand-editing, and dlltool to make a .a that gcc could like against. At runtime, however, it threw Error 126 or 127, depending on the location of the DLL. I finally gave up, thinking that it'd be easier to do it with One-Click Ruby and MSVC. I'll give the .NET SDK download another hour or so :-(. As long as I'm here to keep restarting it after the connection resets, it'll finish eventually. Thanks for the suggestions. Steve
