Subject: [ruby-talk:13794] RE: generic method

In [ruby-talk:10424] Guy (ts) "presented" his generic method proposal.
Will/shouldn't this proposal (as TS puts it: "my toy") make its way into
Ruby? -> RCR: generic methods
If yes, how far are we from method-overloading?
Coming from Smalltalk, I am not really in need of any of these features,
but there seem to be other people out there requiring this.
