I wonder if it would help if Tatsuki (or anyone to whom he handed the
maintenance burden) were to move the project to RubyForge?  At the
least, that would ensure that any new Gem releases would be placed in
the RubyForge gems repository.  And it might make tracking patches and
so forth easier, and he and any fellow developers could have a mailing
list for these sorts of discussions.

At any rate, such a project submission would be approved very quickly, I
assure you :-)   But, perhaps it's already been thought of, and not a
good idea...
