Subject: bug? ruby doesn't flush stdio on exit!

This can't be a feature... stdio should flush on exit!

% ruby -e 'printf "hello"'
% ruby -e 'printf "hello\n"'
hello
% ruby -e 'printf "hello";puts "hi";'
hellohi
%
