From: Jim Menard Date: 2001-03-30T04:40:04+09:00 Subject: [ruby-talk:13336] [ANN] NQXML v0.5.0 NQXML is a pure Ruby implementation of an XML tokenizer, a SAX-style streaming XML parser, a DOM-style tree parser, and an XML writer. ``NQ'' for ``Not Quite''. Some of the changes in version 0.5.0: * The class NQXML::DOMParser has been renamed NQXML::TreeParser. There is still a DOMParser class for backwards compatability. ======== WARING ======== The class NQXML::DOMParser will be removed in a future version of NQXML. ======== WARNING ======== * NQXML::Writer can now write to String and Array objects as well as IO, File, and Tempfile objects. * NQXML::Writer can now write NQXML::Document objects. * NQXML::Document and NQXML::Node now have more methods that support manual document creation. * More documentation and more examples. As always, the NQXML home page is http://www.io.com/~jimm/downloads/nqxml/index.html. Jim -- Jim Menard, jimm@io.com, http://www.io.com/~jimm/ "Power corrupts.
