What about other directories? What about if there is a "libexec" directory? Perhaps have any *.rb files beneath that also be installed, but with perms 0755? I'm just wondering if this extconf.rb stuff can be used to get other files installed, perhaps some support scripts and/or examples. Or should a completely separate script be used for that? Perhaps have some install.rb script that when found during the 'ruby extconf.rb' process, would cause the execution of that install.rb to be appended to the 'install' and 'site-install' targets, kinda like how instruby.rb is used??? -- Amos
