Good suggestion.  There are some drawbacks, but I think it's better than 
a bare "activity percentile".  Maybe it's something that people 
registering on rubyforge could opt into.  If they use RubyForge CVS, 
RubyForge bug tracking, etc. then it would be useful to them.  If they 
simply use RubyForge as a place to dump their binaries (or if the stats 
don't make sense for the project, say the VIT project), they could 
opt-out of that feature.

It's really up to Tom though.  If he thinks it would make RubyForge more 
useful to people, and can figure out some way to get it there it will 
probably happen.
