Subject: Parsing bug?

Hello,

Should this be a syntax error?

  case ''
  when String: 1
  end

Works with a ' ' before the ':'.

Using:
  ruby 1.9.0 (2005-01-22) [i686-linux]

(This caused an error with "gem install actionmailer"; does it work on
1.8?)
