Subject: [ruby-talk:12705] So is Ruby's source always visible?

I am looking at Ruby for the first time and was wondering if I made an app
to distribute, is there anyway to send it without it being the source code
so everyone cannot read it?  Or does it only distribute as the source code
to be run under the ruby.exe, etc.
