I vote for using a leading underscore instead of "@" sign for instance
variables.  Perhaps a leading double underscore for "@@" (class
variables).

class Foo
__var = 23
def initialize
_x = 1
end
end

Looks a little purrrtier to me. :)

Too Pythonic?  Too difficult to parse?

Oh, and add a Boolean class. :)
