I just tried Instiki again on my home Win2k box running the 1-click 
1.8.2 final.

Installed via rubygems (and I hope the Madeleine upgrade didn't break 
anything), ran 'insiki', filled out some compulsory config stuff, edited 
the start page, and I had a nicely running wiki.

No complaints about the missing 2500 dir, and (so far, in some brief 
poking about), no "Bad file descriptor" errors.

Very good!  The five steps are now down to about three.


But I'll still use Soks.  Flat files, and all that.
