FWIW the GPL does _not_ restrict commercial distributions; it restricts 
"privitization" of source code. Now, there are those who believe that you 
can't successfully distribute a commercial program with source code 
availability and those who believe this poses no problem. Who's right? :-)

But, under the terms of GPL, so long as your program iis distributed as open 
source, you can charge anything you want for it.
