I sold that and bought GTK+/GNOME Programming by Peter Wright (from Wrox press). I chose it mostly based on Amazon reviews. It is pretty introductory, which is a nice complement to the official online reference pages. It's also about 50% Gtk and 50% Gnome. Hopefully there are better books out there, but this one is better than nothing (and better than the other one I had). It has definitely cleared up some questions that I couldn't answer using the online docs. >Also, what are your thoughts on Ruby/LibGlade? In my apps, it has been simple enough to build the UI directly in code. Kevin
