Subject: what's the latest on JAXB-like functionality for Ruby?

I found a couple references to a Ruby JAXB, most notably
http://www.rubygarden.org/ruby?XMLinRuby.  But nothing recent, and
nothing that says, "Hey, here's a RAXB!"  Did JasonArhart's project ever
come to fruition?
