The more of the vote the Libertarian party wins, the more they will be seen as a viable alternative to the status quo. They are the largest third party in the country and honestly stand a chance of making inroads to Washington, perhaps 50 years from now or something. Sooner if disasters cause citizens to seek more earnestly for a change. Remember, Lincoln was elected as a third-party candidate!
