     I'm sorry, I'm missing the connection.  That seems to be dealing
with RVALUEs, not RNODEs; the line numbers in RVALUEs are already
integers (not just an 13 bit field).  Are RVALUEs and RNODes related
somehow?  Or is my lack of C showing?
