i have a very simple c program that wraps ruby in a way that allows it to b=
e a
setuid binary.  this allows one to have shell scripts like

#!/usr/local/bin/toor_ruby

that will always execute as the user toor.  it's at

it's primary purpose is for writing cgi scripts that run as a certain user,
but it could help in this case too.
