Subject: Redefining the { } behavior (Hash creation method)


There are two methods of creating Hash:
a = {'a'=>1}
a = Hash['a'=>1]

but I can only redefine the Hash::[] method, not {}

class Hash
   class << self
       def [] *args
          puts "foo"
       end
   end
end

Is it possible to change {}'s behavior?
