Lots o' uses, most unimagined. I have this feeling that XMPP/Jabber is going to be Very Important as time goes on, though, as it's got RFC numbers, and has tentacles in a lot of protocols -- there's talk of it replacing or extending SIP, and there's already a mapping to the SIMPLE IM protocol. There's Atom-over-Jabber in the works, too. It's just a useful system. Ari
