I could only get to rb_gc_stack_start,

  (gdb) p rb_gc_stack_start
  $4 = (VALUE *) 0x60000fffffffb168

because I have no clue which register holds the stack pointer on IA64,

  (gdb) info register esp
  esp: invalid register

Is it not enough to show that Ruby fails after 44 levels and
STACK_LEVEL_MAX = 49152?
