I forget not everyone is exposed to the same brand of humor I am.  It's from a 
movie called "Pretty in Pink" where this psycho skinhead draws a picture of 
his girlfriend, shows it to another person and says "This is what my 
girlfriend looks like without skin."  Meaning, if you were imagining people 
with skin, then your habit is normal.  If you were imagining people without 
skin, then no, it's not normal.  =)
