Anyway, if you keep your editor as small as possible, many will use it
(count me in). I have used vi/emacs in *nix and ne in dos/win. I have never
used ides (imnsho). I just use scripts and simple commandline menus using
read/gets/...

Small is beautiful.

quick comment: I would prefer that your custom theme layout follows the
style of Change fonts. This would ready your editor in case you extend
themes to include fonts (not just color, and thus merging the two). And
besides, the preview would be great too.
