What is the correct way of getting the selected value from a select list?
I am doing the following (not working)

    <form oid="submit">
        <label><b>Select Filelist</b></label>
        <select oid="userList" name="selected">
            <option>@ufile</option>
        </select>
        <p></p>
        <input type="submit" oid="display" value="Display"/>
        <input type="submit" oid="cancel" value="Cancel"/>
    </form>
