The problem may be in rpa/base.rb, line 256: begin Dir.chdir(destdir){ load "install.rb" } rescue Exception RPA::Install::AtExitHandler.cancel raise end If install.rb is not found in destdir, $LOAD_PATH is searched, and who knows what it'll find there. It might be better to use File.expand_path("install.rb") in this case.
