My guess is you may have to edit a .sty style file to get this sort of customization. Chapter headings at the tops of pages behave that way by default in LaTeX, if I remember correctly, so what you propose certainly seems possible (and hopefully not in the just-Turing-equivalent sense! ). My recollections of LaTeX/TeX programming (and even just writing documents in LaTeX) is that whatever was provided by the macro package or style file author worked nicely, but it was frustrating to try to change/customize. Of course, my knowledge of TeX as a language (and even LaTeX, to a lesser degree) was at a fairly elementary level! So, if the class list spread across two pages,=20 you'd get something like: Classes A B C ------------- new page Classes (cont...) D E Now that I need to do this, I can't find the discussion anywhere. Does=20 this ring a bell with anyone? Can this be done in LaTeX? Cheers Dave ------_=_NextPart_001_01C47A13.DF81E489--
