FYI, for those using the DBI libraries, this functionality is already
available.

>> db = DBI.connect "DBI:yada yada ..."
=> #<DBI::DatabaseHandle:0x40e6b0 ... yada...>

If you wish to use DBI::Row independently, here is a demo ...
