Ruby/DL is cool. After seen a mention to it in this
thread, I felt the need to try it out. I ran the GTK
example (after modifying a couple of lines), and
thought: "cool, this module rocks, if only I could use
it to load one or another library when the need comes;
 know what? I'm gonna try to load firebird_embedded
with it."
Kind of like, when we learn something cool, we want to
use it for everything. hehe
Then the sad reality: the firebird_embedded library is
C++, and upon reading some of the previous posts on
the subject, it seems that C++ is too complex for a
generic library, and I calmed down. :-)
