When I first started trying Ruby, I quit using the newsfeed as quickly as I could. I'm one of those who considers it to be a bad idea. > As an admin I really sympathize with the admins that are dealing with this > problem but as a Ruby newbie I must admit that this state of brokenness is > making me a little nervous about my Ruby based projects that I am > embarking on. Perhaps if a company like O'Reilly were to take an interest in taking care of the web site things would be different. I wish I could do more to help, but I'm not sure what to do. I am sure that I really want to see Matz continue to follow his muse and work on the language development instead of being distracted by trying to promote it. -- Matt Weinberg's Law: If builders built buildings the way that programmers wrote programs, the first woodpecker that came along would destroy civilization.
