In example code of Ruby/Gtk function jtype= of class Gtk::Label is used for changing justification of text in a label. It work fine. I have created a class derived from Gtk::Label of form: ------------------------------------------------- class MyLabel < Gtk::Label def initialize(text) super(text) jtype = Gtk::JUSTIFY_LEFT end end ------------------------------------------------- But when I instantiate MyLabel, justification is default (centered). I have seen Ruby/Gtk code and doesn't seem to have problem. In fact, it is an error that seems more correlated with inheritance mechanism. Am i wrong?. What can be the problem? Thanks. David
