Hello Gotoken,

nice to meet you! I have already seen your "An invitation to Ruby".
Very nice!

I beg pardon, I have used English on your mailing list. I hope that not
too much people was offended. 

I really would appreciate a English mailing list. Until then, I
will watch the Japanese one to collect URLs and code snippets. To learn
from you all. I really hope that Ruby will make its way to become
internationally known. But if there are not so many non-Japanese which
use Ruby, I can understand, if there would not be any English mailing
list. It would already help me if I could use English to participate on
that list. But I could also understand if that would not be
appreciated, as not anybody can understand English.

Perhaps you (means the Ruby community) should do something to let Ruby
become popular, or at least known. Perhaps some announcements in the
comp.lang... hierarchy???

I really like Ruby very well. What I also like is, that this language
is coming from Japan. I hope I can find some friends-in-Ruby there on
your site. :-)))

Like any programmer I know many programming languages. It has took me
three weeks to decide to learn Perl, one week for the decision to learn
Python and ONE day to decide to learn Ruby!!! 

Ruby has many features, which I have wished to see in Python. But there
was no much hope before Python 2.0. As I have meet Ruby, I was
astonished to see that many of my wishes was already realized.

Only Ruby lacks of many useful modules. But I will try to transfer some
of them from Python to Ruby in future, and contribute them to the Ruby
community.
