山本です。

printf に "%#.15g" という書式があると知ったので、
組みなおして、大分シンプルになりました。（有効数字15桁、小数点を必ず付加）

 /* ended with decimal point (111111111111111.) */

のブロックは、p "111111111111111".to_f が "111111111111111." となって
不恰好なので、追加しました。これが問題でなければ、このブロックも
削れると思います。
