You can specify any number of variables/value pairs in this way, each
pair with a colon and semicolon as shown above.  `mode: MODENAME;'
specifies the major mode; this should come first in the line.  The

なぁんて書いてあって 2行読むようです。

#! 行が改行込みで 32bytes 以内でないと exec に失敗するシステムの存在を
考え合わせれば、2行目に書くしかない、と思いますが。
(たとえば、NEWS-OS 4 は上記の条件が必要だったはずです。たしか。)
