[ruby-core:97981] [Ruby master Feature#15921] R-assign (rightward-assignment) operator

Issue #15921 has been updated by Dan0042 (Daniel DeLorme).


I'd like to hear some clarififications on the expected behavior of rightward assignment.

assignment at both ends? `x = expr => y`
multiple assignment? `expr => x => y`
splatted assignment? `*expr => x,y`
auto-splatted assignment? `expr => x,y`
with method call chained on next line?
`expr => x
.foo`
