Hi,

First i would like to congradulate = matz and his=20 fellow developers on creating a wonderful, easy to use and practical=20 language.

The reason for my corospondance = is because i=20 have come accross a bug in 1.8.5 ( and some fellow hackers in=20 freenode/#ruby-lang replicated the same problem on 1.8.5 ) when = serializing data=20 with YAML, If there is a lone newline char, it will be removed in the = process=20 of dumping and loading. Here is a example of it in = action:

>> YAML::load(YAML::dump({ :bug = =3D> "\n"=20 }))
=3D> {:bug=3D>""}

Hopefully the ruby-core team is able = to replicate=20 this problem and resolve it.

Regards,
Brendan = Inglese.
